I am an illustrator based in Stockholm, working under the name Sad Ice Cream. My work is characterized by humanity, consent, human rights and a playful sense of charm, often portraying everyday life through bold forms, patterns and color.

Sad Ice Cream is both my studio name and an ongoing illustration project. The name comes from the idea that ice cream is a universal comfort — something that makes things feel a little better when life is hard. I use ice cream as a recurring character and symbol to explore emotions and themes such as freedom, vulnerability, climate anxiety and care, balancing difficult subjects with warmth, humor and visual joy.

My inspiration is rooted in patterns, crown construction, retro aesthetics, Bauhaus and abstract art. I hold a background in illustration and communication design from Konstfack and Berghs School of Communication.
